Middle East Sinatra Collaborates with UK Horn maestro
Omar Kamal is a Palestinian singer/composer from the city of Nablus. His multi-cultural influences have given him a rich taste in music ranging from Frank Sinatra and Michael Jackson to Arabic greats such as Mohammed Abdel Wahab, Fairouz, and even modern trendsetters like The Weeknd.
Omar sings a variety of genres in a number of languages, plays his own instrument, and composes his own music. All these components make Omar one of the most authentic and open artists to emerge from the region in years. He is always looking to add new sounds and elements to his music and experiment with his sound.
Quentin Collins was recently approached to collaborate with Omar as his Music Director. Collins is responsible for pulling together a broad range of A List artists who will perform with Omar throughout the Middle East and the UK. Critically, Collins will shape the direction of the music and ensure that 'The Frank Sinatra of The Middle East' has the same impact on stage as the original man himself once did.
